1. Never hold on to the back pockets of someone twice your size when learning to rollerskate
2. One competent person is way more useful than two incompetent ones, unless you're filling a pit.
3. Shouting is only for idiots and people falling from great heights.
4. Most people don't have hidden agendas, and if they do, they're hidden for a reason. Just move on.
5. Seek first to be self-sufficient, then dominate the weak*
