Baby/Chairman Mao. I'm still laughing about it. Thanks for giving me a chance to exercise my sense of humor. It truly is a useful life skill, especially as the cold, sunless weather saps all desire to live from my soul.

creepy indeed. i think, however, that's normal behaviour for children; they have no emotional control, and very few inhibitions. if they weren't so small (and easily distracted), they'd run the world (as if they don't already).

"Focused determination," and "Breathing through their teeth," you say? No, I'm fairly certain that's not common childish romping. Laughing at the impermanent plight of Baby Mao, well, who wouldn't? But the hammer beatings have me a little concerned.

hmm, can someone say Lord of the Flies?

hmm. that actually reminds me of the way my sisters and i acted towards puppets... our baby-sitter's husband used to put on puppet shows for us, and we'd usually end up battering his hands with books, attacking the puppet. i don't remember why... but i don't think we were breathing through our teeth...
